Work for the Week of 18th May to 22nd May 2020

Hey everyone!!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! Well done to everyone on their great work! I entered 10 children from my class into the draw for the new school tracksuit on Friday, which is more than half the class, so well done to everyone who was entered!! Hopefully someone wins from our class soon!!!

On Monday (today), I am allowed go into the school. I will be putting together work packs for everyone for three weeks (but I will send home enough colouring, word searches and other nice activities to occupy you for the rest of the school year!), which will hopefully make working from home a bit easier for the last few weeks! These should be available from Wednesday, so children can do some of the activities from that pack from Thursday onwards!

In these packs, I'll be suggesting some work for the core subjects, similar to what I've been suggesting up until now (i.e Mental Maths, Maths Worksheet, Litrigh é Linn, Treasury D English, Tables) but my packs mainly consist of Colouring Activities, Well - Being Activities, Word Searches, Book Reviews/Records, a Memory Book and a Home School Time Capsule. I wanted to give you lots of options and variety as I imagine you are getting fed up doing school work at home.
Any work that you do from the packs, I'd still love to see photos on Seesaw!

Here is my suggested work for this week! Again, there is no pressure to do any of it, I hope everyone is continuing to do what suits them and no one is feeling anxious about completing work!

So many children have been working so hard, sending in work nearly every day!! If you're finding you are feeling fed up, but would still like to do a bit of school work, my advise would be to focus on Tables (Multiplication/Division - whatever you feel you need to be revising!) and Reading. If there are days where you're feeling more up to it, you could do a bit of the suggested written work, if you want!😀

Table Master is a good online game for practising your Multiplication Tables
Hit The Button can be used to practise your Division Tables (and Multiplication Tables)

Hope everyone has a great week!
