Story Teller - Literacy Week

As part of Literacy Week, we had a Story Teller in our school! 

Third Class had a lot of laughs listening to all the stories!!

Engineers Week 2019

Thanks to Ms O' Hanlon who organised Engineer's Week in our School!

We watched a documentary about Engineering and had a workshop where we learned how to make levers out of Lego. 

Then we went to the hall to test them out!

We also had a challenge to see who could build the tallest tower

World Book Day 2019

We had a very busy week with World Book Week and Engineers Week! For World Book Day, the children dressed up as characters from books!

Well done to our little Miss Trunchbull, Alana, for winning best costume!

3D Book Characters

As part of World Book Week 2019, Ms Lynch organised a 3D Book Character competition. The children made their characters out of plastic bottles and various other recycled and non recycled items. The children put in lots of work at home and they turned out AMAZING!!!!!!

Pancake Tuesday 🥞

Thank you so much to Ms Hayes for making every child in the school a pancake on Pancake Tuesday.
Third Class learned all about Pancake Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday, designed their own pancake and then enjoyed a delicious pancake and some juice!
